I dyed my hair blackest black, it looks nice for a while, you go around thinking you look like Elizabeth Taylor from Cleopatra, its all fine and dandy and then your sister points out that you looked much better with brown hair and you now look a bit like a 'washed out junkie'.

My natural hair is actually really nice, then I dyed it lighter brown, then red, then dark brown, then black, back to brown, by this time it went metallic red, then back to black, then to brown, red, red, red, brown, black, red, red and now with my natural roots and the rest black.

What will get this out without going to the hairdresser and getting a bleach bath? Which would cost me 鎷?0 for one bath, and I may need two or three? What would make a difference, one hairdresser suggested fairy liquid (seriously) and it took some out but left my hair with bits of the red and black peppered everywhere.

It sounds like you have processed your hair many times. I know you hate to part with your money but go and talk to a few hairdressers and get a quote and try to find the cheapest one. You could also go to the beauty supply store and get peroxide and just bleach it all down as far as possible and then find a color that is the best match to your natural hair and then process it agian. I do not recommend this because your hair may not be able to handle this and may break off. I would leave this to the professionals.

Ok. your hair is really damaged but as long as it will still hold color you can do this at home.

How long is your hair? Mine is waist length and I need 5 boxs of lightener each time I do it and I usually have to do it 2 times with black in my hair. Then you will need 5 boxs of color if you are not going to stay blond. You may find a hairdresser that is cheeper than going it alone.

If you have shorter hair go for it. The stuff you need is hair lightener it will say this on the box and it will say may lighten hair 3, 5 or up to 7 shades in one use. You will need to do this 2 times to get a shade of blond and it will go thru red and orange to get there.

Warning! this will damage your hair. I would lighten it on a Friday then wash it with a ph balanced hair shampoo then lighten it sat. then use the shampoo. then color it sunday. Good Luck.
