Hair Coloring help!!!!!!!! Matrix Socolor!!!?!?!?

i always used Color Gems hair dye..and now my hair color is a medium brown with a reddish tint....and my roots are light black because that's my natural hair color

i have a box of Matrix Socolor hair dye in 7AA dark ash ash blond....how should i dye my hair since my roots are a different color? how long should i keep the dye in for?

you should probaboy lighten your hair first with lighteneing powder as blonde wont show up on brown hair.

i am a hair dressing student and we use matrix colour in our salon. i reccomend you get it lightened at the salon first then you can go over it with your colour.
