Can i color my hair twice in a row?

i went to a salon and wanted to add some different dimensions to my hair and so i asked for highlights and lowlights. the woman said ok and let me choose the colors. i chose a light blonde color for the highlights and a deep brown for the lowlights. i thought that some of my natural hair was supposed to be left in and she said that it would. but before i knew she had dyed all of my hair! and it wasn't either of the colors that i chose! i was brassy with highlights and she missed parts if my real hair so now i looks like i did it at home ans screwed it all up. with the dyes and cut it totaled $90. i didnt want to hurt her feelings so i didnt say anything which was a big mistake! now it is a few days before school starts and my hair looks hideous! i want to just go back to my natural hair color whicj is a dark brown and was thinking about just using a store bought one. would that be bad to dye it so soon and would it give me the color that i am looking for?

No it wouldn't do that much harm to your hair. Slso, you probably would get some highlight too in your hair if you dye it again. Though those would look natural. So don't worry.

first, go get the color stripped or get it dyed backl to your fegular color. make sure to show/tell the hairdresser exactly what happened and exactly what you want, then get it redone, or just leave it your natural color.

well it wouldnt give you the color you are looking for because some parts of your hair are lighter than the others,so they will look different.i would suggest bleaching then coloring brown but at this point that would totall kill your hair.what you could do (even though it is a pain in the butt)is bleach it, then use a semi temporary color(like 6 bucks at the drug store), but you would have to use the semi once a week until you feel your hair is healthy enough to dye again.the semi doesnt do anything to your hair,its amonia free and is just like putting extra-concentraded food dye on it.

Don't do it. Just wear a hat. However your hair is behaving, just deal with it because you don't want to hurt it. Sometimes trying something new is difficult and it probably doesn't look that bad. SMILE. Put your hands on your hips and hold your head up high.

O.K. first things first...if you didn't get what you asked AND paid for....go back....even if it's been a week or two or more and tell your hair dresser exactly what you said here. Worst case is she says "tough luck" which is not very likely as she wants GOOD reviews from you to your friends etc. and probably has NO CLUE that it's not working for you.

If she does say "tough luck" then get on the phone with another hair dresser...ANY other hairdresser and ask her about re-coloring it yourself at home. I have had to do it myself a couple of times and had no problem but, getting advise from a pro is always a good idea when it comes to putting lots of product in you hair in a short period of time.
