Color Charm liquid permanent hair color by Wella- sold at Sally's Beauty Supply. They will tell you what level volume you need to buy. If you have to strip it they sell the products without amonia in it-good luck and Happy Holidays! You can buy products at Sally's it is opened to the public- I've been in the business for over 15 years %26amp; license for over 10 years - trust me! This Lindy below has know clue what she is talking about and must work in an old fahion salon! Angry crazy- fly off the handle lady needs some refresher courses ASAP! v Her avatar says it all! I'm guessing she mainly does old lady roller sets! Happy Holidays!

oooohh...I know how you feel...I have strawberry blonde and tried to go auburn...My hair turned Aggie Maroon. Best advice...Don't use home dyes...as far as getting back to your original color...I dunno...

try dying it again with a darker brown, it won't mess up your hair. Just be careful and use ALOT of conditioner when you are done.

first of all, you can't buy strippers without a license. secondly, all strippers have ammonia. thirdly, trying to use a stripper when you have no clue what you are doing is asking for orange hair.

ok. now back to you. for now, you are just going to have to live with the red. no salon is going to be open on christmas, and neither is sally's. you really should not attempt to "fix" this on your own. having highlights under that red is a disaster waiting to happen. the only safe option for you is to wait for wednesday morning, call a salon, get an appointment for a color correction (which it may not wind up being), and have a professional stylist fix the problem. and it might not even be your mistake. it could actually be loreal's mistake. it's not unheard of for the wrong color to be put in the box. yes, there are warm undertones in a caramel brown, but there should not be any burgundy undertones in a caramel. i don't think it should come to the stylist having to strip your hair. she may re-highlight it (to keep it from being too dark), and color over the red with an ash to tone it down, but unless it went WAY too dark, you probably don't need a stripper.
