I have a dark/medium brown hair color, but my roots are an orange/reddish/golden color. It's not obvious, just looks like light its shining on it. I also have red tinted hair--- it's not natural, I dyed it red in the past. My natural hair color is medium brown. How can I remove this red tint and the red from my roots? I wanted to go to a lightish brown color, maybe a medium brown like my natural color, but when I go lighter, more red shows. I'm trying to get rid of it instead of going to a salon because I really can't afford to pay the money. Any suggestions?
