Hair color question..advice or opinions?

ok well i've had my hair dark brown for a while, and most people like it best that way even though my natural hair color is a light reddish brown color. but anyway i recently tried dying my hair at home, which didn't turn out so well cause i have really long hair and a lot of it .. so i'm goin to the hair salon in a few days to get it fixed, i'm probably gonna stick with the dark brown.. but i was thinkin about maybe gettin a slightly dark reddish auburn color underneath, what do you think? or maybe small streaks throughout.. i want it to be noticable, but not too drastic. i need opinions, i'm not sure what i should do

highlights would be nice. just make sure that it matches or seems like your natural hair color. like, a lighter or darker shade would look really cute. just dont make it too obvious. my friend's hair is like, dirty blonde. and then she got "highlights." the next day at school, she was blonde. dont make it that obvious.

go for the reddish!!! i love red hair (or reddish hair in this case) whether it's fiery, copper, auburn, strawberry blonde etc. REDHEADS ROCK!!!!!!!

If you want it to show but want more of a natural look, you want to get a weave. Did you know red is the hardest color to maintain?!

In my opinion, try highlights would be better, then only choose the colours for dying. My friend did in this way as well.

foils are always a good option they are noticable but not to much out there. a darker base with a lighter foil is nice. i always go for foils they are much better than straeks cause you can see them wheather your hair is down or pulled up it is a more natural look all over.

low lights are a good way to make your hair look like it has movement and also makes it more interesting, rather than having one all over color.

you should iron(not that iron that we use for our clothes a special type of iron available in saloon that makes our hair very straight )your hair then you should color it too dark black
