proffesionally.... either if you're planning to dye it back to the origonal color or try again.

Go to a professional. You may be able to re dye it at home but it sounds like you've already done a bit of damage. considering when you lighten your hair... your stripping off color.... there is no way to just remove the lightness you added.

If you go to a professional salon, they can give you a number of options, probably including something similar to what you originally wanted done. Also, going to a salon will help prevent damage to your hair, which doing it yourself can cause.

go to the salon and have highlights and lowlights put in.

I have done the same thing girl! You are not alone.

I ended up going to a professional, for fearing of making it look even worse myself, and got it back all one color. It was a two step process and cost me $115 (I got it cut too) but I felt it was worth it.

def. go to a professional the blond pigment in the hair color is very hard to color over. they have certain hair products to help color the pigment. trust me i have been there done that. i have dark dark brown hair to , and i no the process. so please go to a professional. it maybe a little time consuming but you don't want to mess it up anymore with store bought products. good luck

I am a colorist and I'm here to help......

What you did is a very common occurrence, we see it in the shop all the time. When you use store bought color you are going into a professional job with the incorrect tools. The peroxide available to you is not salon strength or quality. It is what makes going to a professional worth it, that and for our knowledge. You have a very easy fix by a qualified colorist. Also we have some ideas that you might not have thought of and we also might be able to rescue the original idea you had. Plus you should have fun when you are getting color done you should not worry. So I say call around for a colorist that can help, or if the salon you usually go to has confident experienced stylists\colorist on staff go there., but shop around for a good one. We are worth the time and money cause we will ALWAYS be there for you. Good Luck

Go have it dyed back. They can probably just put dye on the pieces that you high lighted instead of your whole head. Good luck
