Need hair colour help!?!?

Ok. My natural hair colour is a honey/golden brown/blonde.

6 months ago I died my hair chocolate brown (semi permanent) and then recently I began getting highlights with the aim of getting entirely white blonde (Chloe Sevigny style) hair colour.

BUT it's time consuming and expensive, and I'm in a dilemma as to whether to continue on to my ideal hair colour (remembering that it will be alot of maintenence) or just get a rinse put through until my natural colour grows back.

OR can anyone (especially hairdressers) advise me on a quicker way than gradual highlights (I've had like 6 appilications) to get my hair my ideal colour. Is it possible to do it all in one go even if it's drying? Can it be done?

Thanks!

Get a product called color remover(by L'Oreal) . . This will take your hair to a lighter level. Then get L'Oreal Preference in a medium beige blonde. Between what you have done and what you do with these two products, yourt results should be a natural looking honey golden blonde. Believe me this works!!!!

If it's too expensive for you - it's not worth the time and trouble. Just lighten the whole head of hair to your natural color and let it grow out.

First of all , stop adding stuff to your hair.... NOW. Added applications of artificial color will only make it more difficult to achieve the shade you truly desire. Give your hair a month or two off from color processing. In that time, use a really good quality shampoo and conditioner. Find a beauty supply outlet store (the kind that hairdressers use) Around my area we have Sally's beauty supply outlet. Use a product called L'oreor Super Blue, a medium lift developer (30 should do it) and don't forget to add some RGC (red gold corrector. All brown shades have undertones of red, so if you are going for the translucent blonde look you NEED that RGC or you will end up looking like Carrot Top.) One or Two applications should be enough, but be warned. This is a professional bleaching product and your hair will need a really good daily moisture treatment. Good Luck--MissDelanne

Edit- The products I have recommended and the necesarry application equipment will cost around $25, but will give you long lasting, professional quality results. I really suggest staying away from cheap, temporary, drug-store products. These products, (known in the trade as deposit colours) will give you short lasting, fake looking results. No real,. RESPECTABLE stylist would be caught dead buying products from a dollar store!!!!!!
