Hair question! helppp!!! 10 points and a good review?

ok so i dyed my hair about 12 -13 times in the past year and well its very thin and brittle so i want to just let it all grow out and have my natural hair color and just have healthy hair. so like right now my hair is about 2.5 inches below my shoulder so how long will it take for my natural hair to grow out to that length? and what can i do to make it grow a little faster oh and even though my hair is very damaged it still grows pretty quickly guess

I have dyed my hair since I was 13 and I have let it grow out since and dont do anything to it now. But to get it back to its natural color I went and got the same color of my hair and colored it back and it didnt take it long from then on. Hope this helps. And also use a VERY GOOD cond.

you can get this shampoo its from garnie it says on the bottle for damaged,,dyed hair.

well to make it grow i heard something about lemon juice, and you can go to the place where you buy shampoo ,and look for the brand i cant remember what its called, then you can get the one that makes your hair longer quicker.

well first of all dying your hair 12-13 times a year is a bit much? it will probs. take you longer then it would for undyed hair because natural hair grows faster. Try using aussie 3 minute miracle conditioner with any other shampoo to make your hair go from uhhhh to ausssomee

There are shampoo that make your damage hair not so damage so I suggest you to use that.

As for your hair growth i dont think there are any hair styling products that can make your hair grow any faster than it is. For my hair, my hair grows faster than my friends so im not in a rush. good luck :]

Hair grows about 1/2-1 inch per month. Try taking pre-natal vitamins. They contain zinc, Folic Acid and Chromium all of which promotes healthier hair. It won't make it grow faster but it will help it to become stronger. Don't dye your hair for at least another 6 months if you can stand it. You can get a condition called Alopecia if you stress your scalp and follicles too much.

DO NOT put lemon juice in your hair. The acid will strip it even more and will bleach your hair.

If you're dying your hair yourself with store brands - STOP! Go to the hair salon and have it professionally dyed 2 shades darker than your natural hair color and cut your hair just above your shoulders. Hair salons can provide much more moisture/conditioning for your hair, and by dying your hair darker, it won't look as obvious as your natural color grows out. By cutting it, you will be getting rid of some of the dead ends and make your thin hair look thicker.

My hair is damaged too from overdying it, but its not too bad. I asked my hairstylist what i could to control my hair and they said to use a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner in my hair. They started recommended their expensive brands and all, but i asked if there were some cheaper stuff in drugstores and they mentioned they would only recommend nexxus b/c it salon quality. the price isnt too bad, but it works really well. Just keep your hair moisturized, hydrated, get trims often , and limit the use heating tools and certain hair products that may dry our your hair more. Less is more. Also, blonde hair gets my damaged more quickly than darker hair b/c of the chemicals used to lighten hair, but i'm sure that doesn't apply to you considering your avatar. I really hope this makes sense and that im not just rambling on.

wel, first off, dying ur hair that many times in 1 year is REALLY bad for ur hair. anyway, here's a hair growth stimulator:

1/2 cup olive oil

1/2 cup rosemary

boil it until the rosemary sort of withers away. pour it all over your hair and leave it in for about 5 minutes then rinse it out in the shower. use your regular shampoo and conditioner , then towel dry it. let your hair air dry then, use a blow dryer that has a cool setting. blow your hair using the cool setting until it seems ALMOST frizzy, then add nickle sized dose of Farouk Systems Biosilk Silk Thearapy (drug stoes) to your hair. repeat this for about a week or 2, and you should see results.
