If i get my hair thinned out will it effect my natural curls?

No absolutely not. Go to a good salon and ask them to use shears NOT a razor...i have long thick curly hair that i get thinned out several times a year and i still have my curls.

Yes. make sure the person cutting your hair specializes in curly hair. If they use thinning shears and do it wrong it could make your hair spring up and puff out. if they use a razor wrong it could take out the curl. The curl needs to be sliced in the curl pattern depending on the haircut. Good luck

I agree with Susan C, having curly hair, I have had some really bad hair cuts. If the person does it wrong you will be Diana Ross from the 70's!!! Not good. I usually go one of 2 places. The high end salon that costs me an arm and a leg or if it's just a trim I go to the lower end salon near my house. There is an Asian lady there married to a black man and she does her daughters hair. So mine is a piece of cake.

the thiner your hair is the more its gonna want to curl... because it will not have the weight to hold it down!
