BLACK hair want to dye 2 tips BLONDE...?

i am white and want to dye two peices of hair blonde...or at least lighter than BLACK...which is my natural hair color..i have dyed my hair multiple times...always came out GREAT!!! except ONE time..LOL...i dyed my whole head (stupidly blonde with bleach which was DUMB because a couple friends and i ran away from home when i was 12 and i was the only one with BLACK hair so we decided to STEAL bleach!!!!and we poured it over my WHOLE head) (omg STINGS LIKE HELL!! LMFAO) (turned green because my hair is SO black!) LOL!!! idiot!!! anywhoo..i am now 21 and have always had red tips NOT PROFESSIONALLY ...but now i have let my hair grow naturally and i am completely black with TONS of gray hairs (which i dont really care about) i just want blonde tips on the two peices of hair that FRAME my face...i CAN'T dye them with perfessional sh*t because i am so freaking poor...can i do it with peroxide?!?! please help!!! PLEASE!!

Peroxide is very damaging and won't necessarily work because it's black. I suggest if you can find a Sally Beauty Supply somewhere near you, they have cheap bleaching kits. Or even walmart you may be able to find a decently priced one. I don't see this turning out because it's never a good idea to go from black to blond...ESPECIALLY not professionally. Even having dyed hair and trying to go blond won't always work out. Bleaching is one of the things I suggest not doing at home, but if you want to try-it's your hair. Just use bleach from a store-not regular bleach, not peroxide if you're going to do this. And if it doesn't work out, you can always die it back. Feel free to e-mail me or im me for more info!

Peroxide isn't actually what bleaches your hair, it's a combination of peroxide and a bleaching powder, which is a different chemical. You could buy bleach powder and hair peroxide separately instead of buying a kit, it comes to less than $10.

Whats the point of having two tiny pieces of hair blonde? I don't get it! At least go blonde all over, or another color. Little blonde bits are so unoriginal! Have streaks blue or something, that would look great with your black hair!
