Hair Extensions and relaxers?

So i get relaxers on my natural hair every 6 weeks. And im thinking of getting hair extensions(all out wavy style not braided) but i noticed the first couple weeks/days of the relaxer my hair is soft and flowy but after awhile it gets kinda frizzy and i have to flat iron it to get it back to the way it was.

so what happens when i get the hair extensions?? Will it look weird with the straight fake hair then my hair becoming nappy underneath? How can i keep my hair looking smooth like the extensions will be??

sorry if this is confusing..ask and ill try to explain sumthing better if u dont get it

Hair Extensions and relaxers?

It will look weird, however, if you follow these simple steps your natural hair will be frizz free and silky straight, so you're free to put on the extensions. This is my answer to a woman with a really bad frizz problem, she chose it as the best answer, hope it helps. Relaxed hair is very dry, thus it becomes frizzy, therefore you need real good moisturizing products like below in order to prevent it from becoming dry, I have relaxed hair but my hair is smooth, soft and shiny because of how I treat it. All of the following products reviews can be read and the products themselves can be purchased at hairboutique.com and drugstore.com (leads you to beauty.com)

I'm not gay but I do like to take care of how my hair looks and if any women think that there is something wrong with that, please let me know because I appreciate your honesty.

The best anti frizz system is from PHYTO....but they are expensive, however, they will get the job done....

PHYTO has many products for different hair....but here is what I suggest you use.

1) Phytobrush Shampoo (Phytobrush protects against blow drying, You may want to get Phytonectar shampoo, it is specifically for relaxed hair.)

2) One of Phyto's instant hydrating conditioners (the ones that you rinse off)

3) PHYTO's Relaxing balm (this is what you would use prior to blow-drying and its the best relaxing balm...it's allure's winner...its $25 for a 3.3 oz bottle...if you want more you can pay the same amount and get 7.1 oz of Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream, that works great as well.

4) After you have blow-dryed, use BioSilk Therapy and apply it to your hair

5) Use a flat iron (and of course use a heat protectant...CHI 44, Sebastian Sharper Iron Hot Tools, Nexxus Protexx are just a few...

6) Use a good flat iron (People will tell you CHI is the best, it gives great results but breaks down, and if you purchase it online the warranty is void...) so use the SEDU flat iron, its the best and if you want proof and reviews with b4 and after pics, go to folica.com and see the reviews for the 1 1/2" they have...its also allure's winner as well....if you want a more detailed breakdown of flat irons see my other answers regarding flat irons (again I'm not gay)

7) Follow through with PHYTO 7 or 9 depending of how dry your hair is as they are leave in conditioners...

8) Use the PHYTO deep conditioner masks that are to be used once a week...

Obviously the last 2 steps do not de-frizz your hair, but that is taken care long before you get to them....the last 2 steps are just to help your dry hair.

Hope it helps.

Hair Extensions and relaxers?

i recently got some jessica simpson clip in extensions. they're really cool, theyre easy to put in and you can take them out whenever you want, and they give you insta-babe hair. they come in wavy and straight styles, i have straight hair and i got wavy ones but you cant tell a difference.

maybe u should try getting your extensions sewed in. If u don't already know the cornrows your hair first then sew in the weave. But to keep your hair look good the first couple of weeks you should make sure you keep your hair oiled (with light oil) tie it up ant night keep your split ends clipped or try a product that helps keep the frizzness down.
